16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Fall
My great grandma made this bathrobe. I've been wearing it for years, slowly tearing it. Unlike trees which lose their leaves and grow them back every year, I cannot repair the fabric of the bathrobe which is fragile and old. This made me think about aging, which is a source of anxiety for many women.
