20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Fall Country
Somewhere east of the Mississippi River the bluffs rise up behind the farm land in the rural countryside of Wisconsin. I admired this view from a quiet road and notices a man working his garden and said hi. We talked for forty minutes about his love of the country life, his farm and how much snow might come in the following winter.
