Fall in Big Thicket National Preserve

This image shows a bald cypress at the peak of fall colors in a marshy bog in the Big Thicket National Preserve of east Texas. I was on a long hike exploring the many trails of the Big Thicket and the lines / geometry of these trees was what caused me to stop and take a photo. It's almost as if the cypress is saying "you go your way, I'll go mine".
