Fall in Pearl River, Louisiana
Fall is my favorite season and I took this photo near my home on October 26, 2021. The scene made me happy and the red truck reminded me of my brother, David Walker, who passed away on September 21, 2020. David drove a red truck for 20 years and this has become a symbol of his ongoing presence in my life. I like the pumpkins, sunflowers and maple leaves but I particularly like the cross with the word 'Believe' in the middle of the photo. I also like pumpkin spice everything and one scarecrow is holding a sign that says 'Happy Pumpkin Spice Season'. The words 'God Bless' gave me added comfort since my mother, Rose Russell, had just passed away on October 17, 2021.
