My parents were from New York and I was visiting Manhattan in memory of my mother. I had just spent time in Paris because she had taken my brother and I there when we were children. The entire trip was really wonderful and I had so many memories of my mother and brother. This was one of the last photographs I took before heading back to California where I live and was stunned by it's beauty. Somehow, I felt she was part of it.
