Fallen Giant

All that remains of a giant Douglas Fir tree is an uprooted tree trunk. Believed to have fallen in a wind storm, the tree is estimated to have been between 500-800 years old. Cathedral Grove is one of the few remaining stands of virgin forest where trees remain protected while remaining open for public viewing.
