Fallen log in the New Hampshire Woods.
This is a closeup of an old, weathered log that I came across next to a path that I was walking on. I was in the forest trying to learn the settings on my new camera and want to try the macro mode. The lines on it reminded me of the lined paper that you get in elementary school!
