Falling in Line
After a 5-mile hike along the cliffs of the Porcupine Mountains, the path opened up to a beautiful scenic view of some of the most impressive fall colors I have ever scene. I had originally had my wide-angle lens on, attempting to take a few panoramic images. I noticed down in the valley a small stream with some small white moving objects. I swapped to my larger lens and realized they were trumpeter swans! I snapped a few photos as floated down the stream, one after another. The white birds stand out and create a nice contrast to the vibrant fall colors.
