As a naturalized US citizen, I like to learn more about US history. One way to learn about the American heritage is to attend reenactment of the civil war period. Every four years a large group of people gathering in Texas relive the civil war period for a whole week. I was attended last year event, where I captured a scene when a young women bid farewell to her sweet heart with a sequence of shots. I spent several day to trying to capture some story on how people at that time was dealing with parting with their love one.
