Farmland Forgotten
Backwater flooding surrounds a farm in the lower Mississippi Delta on June 14, 2019. For nearly 6 months, this farming region was flooded by a historically high Mississippi River, combined with excessing rain — major signs of a changing climate. Living in the Mississippi Delta, I have continued to document this fertile soil being devastated by unparalleled floods.
