Growing up my family went to the Adirondack mountains every year for our family vacation. I had not been back there in over 10 years. But finally on my own little family took a vacation to Lake Francis in The Adirondack Mountains of New York last year and my 4-year-old son had just caught his first large-mouth bass and he and my husband could not be pulled away from the dock after that. Even one evening when a little storm blew thru and then cleared into a double rainbow. Such a special moment seeing my son (and husband) enjoy this place as much as I did when I was a kid.
