21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Fawn, Nikon D500
This fawn was born just outside our home. it was still attached to her mother when we happen up them. Her mother quickly detached the fawn and tucked her into the bushes. She left, apparently to feed and restore her energy.
