Fear Will Take Us All

Near the tail end of a boudoir shoot that my friend (the model) and I were doing, we decided to shoot something with serious tones. Depicting a young woman struggling against the glass of the shower she sits in. For myself as the photographer, and the model, we felt that the shower is the place in which people often go to find comfort, clear their thoughts, and relax. It is often a safe space. As we reflected on the effects of the anxiety and fear our society is currently saturated with, we imagined that such emotional turmoil might even seep into our safe spaces. Into our minds, thus turning our safe spaces and minds into prisons.
