Fearless fishermen

Fearless fishermen at their fishing camp on the banks of Zambia’s Luangwa River. Even though the Luangwa river has the world’s largest concentration of hippos and is packed with crocodiles, the local fishermen continues to set their nets in the river and paddle their canoes. They cross the river by feet, sometimes up to their breast, fearless of the dangerous wildlife around them. It is impressive to see, how some of the indigenous peoples in Zambia's Luangwa valley, can achieve a balance with the environment through a deep respect and an understanding of the wildlife around them.
