Female Familiar Bluet at White Oak Bayou

The banks of White Oak Bayou, which runs through my neighborhood in Houston, feature tall, colorful grasses and wildflowers in the spring, which is also when the dragonflies and damselflies, like this female familiar bluet, begin to appear. And early in the morning, covered in dewdrops, they sparkle in the rays of the rising sun.
