Female Ruby Throated Hummingbird With Zinnia

I have been setting out nectar for the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds for a number of years in our back yard when they arrive in the spring. Although I have photographed these tiny birds flying in mid air to our feeder or drinking nectar, this is the first time I have actually caught one with my camera pollinating a Zinnia in our back yard! Words can't describe how thrilled I was! it takes tons of patience along with a fast shutter speed and to be prepared for their time schedule when they decide to pollinate the flowers.
