Fern forest floor
The redwoods get all the rightful attention in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve, but the forest floor is full of fascinating flora, too. Here ferns grew tall, just like they did in an imagined Jurassic forest, too. I liked the lines and shadows playing at the foot of the trees.
