I always love visiting the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon during the spring. The ferns start blooming, the rivers and waterfalls are flowing, and there's green ... everywhere. After a several mile hike up and down steep terrain, I finally arrived at this beautiful waterfall and made sure to photograph it before the sun got too high and blotched out the scene.
