This shot captures one of a great number of long shallow boats carrying tiny Buddhist effigies across Lake Inle, Myanmar, during their annual festival. The young men's saffron dyed garb against the dark dawn-lit sky was a feast for the senses, amidst the joyful cacophony of percussive sounds being played on each of these boats which crossed the lake in a seemingly endless stream of celebration.
