Fierce Tenderness
Just after sunrise, we were the only vehicle in the area when two lionesses appeared each carrying a cub with a third little one trailing behind. It was only the second reported sighting of these cubs and the first time there had been four. The two mothers were in search of a new hiding spot to protect the cubs from a nearby pride.
