Finned and dried
Juvenile shark carcasses drying in the Sahara desert. Shark fishermen had caught hundreds of sharks off the coast of Mauritania, de-finned them at sea, sold the fins to Chinese boats off-shore and brought the carcasses on-shore to dry for selling in Senegal.
