This is a Polaroid transfer of a color slide I made in 1998. I worked for the Boston Fire Department as a civilian and would do photo projects on my own; although I was still attending art school in Boston when I made this. I went to the state Fire training facility when the Boston Fire recruit class attended for LPG and LNG Fire training. Polaroid transfers were my favorite process but unfortunately peel apart Polaroids are no longer manufactured.
