Here I have a photo of a good friend who is a local firefighter. When I read the categories of this contest and came across "The American Experience" he was one of the first that I thought of. Our parents immigrated to America from a communist country where they had a hard life. They didn't have freedom. Very fortunately for us, they moved here and gave us a great life. And now we get to live the American Experience!
