There are many firemen and others associated with the upkeep of this beauty from 1914. It used to be part of the Hyderabad Nizam's state railway. I doubt that it is in use now. It was built by John Morris and sons, Fire Engineers, Manchester. Beautifully restored in 1981 by Mr. Yashpal Gupta of the Railway Board, it won the award for the best restored vehicle that year.
