Fireworks Wednesday
"Suri Celebration" is held on the last Wednesday of the Iranian solar year, on which night the people of the city light a fire and men and women dance and rejoice with Music Performance, and traditionally jump over the fire and play fireworks. "Suri" means red and is a symbol of helping to accelerate the warming of the air in the cold of winter and the beginning of spring. (Isfahan - Chehelston Palace, a survivor of the Safavi era).
