Alaska is famous for its salmon and when I saw the sign welcoming visitors to Alaska with a salmon market in a near corner I thought that an image showing Alaska's first city, with a sign making reference to "salmon capital of the world" and a salmon market in the background would make for a great shot. I looked for the best angle and waited for no people or moving cars to take the shot. It came out very well.
