16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile
First frost
This photo was taken when the first frost hit in Ocotber 2017. The autumn flowers had not yet finished blossoming but with the cold night they were frozen, creating very beautiful contrasts between the fragility of the flowers, and the ice.
