Totem pole by the First Nation people in Victoria,Vancouver Island,Canada, set in front of the current Government buildings.Canada is making efforts to reconcile the relationship with First Nation peoples in recognition of poor treatment of First Nations people in the past. There are many totem spoles around the city but this one caught my eye with the government buidings behind it, symbolising past & present.
