Five-Lined Skink on a North Carolina Trail
This juvenile five-lined skink has a striking coloration. I saw it while hiking with my roommate--a true nature enthusiast--at the Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area. Blue is an uncommon sight among animals, so this was quite a find!
