Every year on 9-11, Pepperdine University in Malibu, California places a flag on the university's front lawn for every person that died in the 9-11 attack. I visit this memorial every year. I thought this scene of the flags blowing in the wind with this spectacular sky would make a great photograph. I put my camera on my tripod so I could use a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of the flags.
