Flashlight illuminated hand and foot print markings on wall in the darkness of Lalish Temple
The Lalish Temple, home of the Yezidi religion in Iraq, welcomed shoeless visitors into the total darkness of the Temple. Only flashlights were allowed. A flashlight, seen to the left, illuminated the hand and foot print markings on the wall. Huge oil jugs lined near the markings completed the scene.
