Fledgling Carolina House Wrens
A pair of Carolina House Wrens set up their seasonal home under the front porch roof. I observed them from the time building the nest and laying eggs to feeding their young and coaxing the fledglings to leave the nest - roughly a 21 day period of time in May. This photo was that last day when the youngsters left the safety of their nest and entered the world.
