Flightless cormorants, nest building, Galapagos 2019

We spent a week exploring, hiking and snorkeling in and around various islands in the Galapagos. While sailing near Isabela Island in a Zodiak craft with our guide, we spotted several pairs of flightless cormorants courting and building nests among the rocks. I was hand-held with a Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 70-300 telephoto zoom, when I spotted this very appealing pair.
