Flipping the Bird
At the Castelo St. Jorge in Lisbon, Portugal, a peacock was displaying his plumage to the crowd and the nearby peahens. This shot is captured from behind him, where the feathers are only brown, white, and gray; but I was intrigued by the geometry of the feather cores exploding out from the center into a firework like display, and found that I loved how it looked in black and white.
