These float houses up the Stikine River, near Wrangell, Alaska are used as a seasonal base for summer fishing and winter hunting trips. They represent the recreational options of the area. Primarily consisting of waterways and islands in S.E. Alaska, a weekend retreat often entails a skiff trip to a remote cabin.
