Floating in the Riverbed

This photo was taken at the Newport Dog Beach in California. There's a strong current flowing from the ocean into the riverbed but then it calms down in a sort of gulf. This boy was floating in the water, drifting with it slowly. There were other people (and dogs) in the water, like the man in the background, but the boy was floating in the midst of them all and didn't care. The relaxed feeling you get from the boy is in stark contrast to the rest of the photo- the man and the bridge with cars creates a disruption and reinforces the ability of the kid to drown everything out.
