The Tam Giang-Cau Hai lagoon system in Thua Thien-Hue is the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia. The Tam Giang lagoon alone covers an area of 52 km2 with 24 km length. The ecology of Tam Giang lagoon is very diverse with many famous seafood species such as silver shrimp, brown fish, white fish ... These products have absolutely special flavor compared to other places. People usually catch fish with net, fish corral, ... They leave their house in the evening for fishing and back with a lot of fish/seafood in the early morning.
