After camping the night before near Ørnenipa, I left the camp before dawn. The summit of Ørnenipa is 1333 meters high and offers superb views of Gaustatoppen, Tuddal, and Lake Tinnsjön. It was not my first time there. I had been scouting the surrounding mountains for already six months then.
