we live right on the river. the flood of 2019 lasted what seemed like forever. the river would go up then start to go down and then come back even higher. we all boated in to get to home as the roads were flooded. this shot was taken as the water creeped closer to my neighbors front door. their beautiful patio sitting in the mississippi river.
