16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Florida Mountains, New Mexico
From the top of Lover's Leap Canyon on this especially clear day, my husband and I could see east to the Franklin Mountains in Texas, west to the Chiricahuas in Arizona, and south to many unknown (to us) peaks and ranges in Mexico.
