Flowers in January

This picture shows rhododendron bushes in Seattle, Washington in the month of January. This was essentially the first time I had really lived somewhere that had flowers in January. While a common stereotype is that Seattle is gray, dark, and rainy, this shows that even in one of the darker and grayer times of year, there is not only still green but even splashes of very vibrant colors.
