Fly Island, Caumsett State Park.

The picture shows the western end of Fly Island. It is more accurately classified as an islet, and is in the salt marsh at the park. Getting into the interior of the island is virtually impossible because it is solid thorn bushes. During high tide, the water flows around Fly Island in a wide channel that goes around the western, northern, and eastern sides of the islet. At that point, the water flows through a narrow channel on the south side.
