This egret was seen by the banks of Dambulla lake. It was a time of rambunctious birds fighting for a perching spot while some were already settled in. I wanted to take a slow shutter photograph to capture a white cloud like effect in the darkness and I was able to achieve this when one of the them fell off into the water after a fight for a space on a branch. The slow shutter effect also captured the water sprays from the lake.
