Foggy Oregon Coast 2020

Camping in Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon, I decided to take a trip South, along Highway 101, to locate a spot that I thought would be unique and interesting. I hadn't been to Ecola State Park, in a long time, so I took that exit and ran across a BIG surprise. The fog was hanging low along the rocks and best of all the wind was not blowing, which is unusual for the coast! Due to Covid-19, The Oregon State Parks Department had a lot of "usual" scenic views blocked so that big crowds could not gather, which was great! Some areas were blocked off (too) because the shore birds were nesting, at fall. This is a huge area where thousands of birds nest in the fall and spring. In fact, I did see some Snowy Plovers, while I was strolling along Arcadia Beach, which is located a little further south; just south of Cannon Beach. Fog is a difficult subject to capture
