Folklore

Tradition passing from one generation to next. Gangtok is capital of Sikkim, a north eastern state of India. It is a very beautiful hill station. Rumtek Buddhist monastery is a prime religious place of Gangtok. I saw a senior monk teaches flute to a group of little monks. He was so affectionate towards his juniors. How carefully he teaches them was very pleasant to watch. Those little monks were so curious and very interested to learn the instrument. I clearly understand that the flute was just a medium of passing the tradition from one generation to the next. How carefully the senior monk passes the tradition to the next gen was amazing to watch. I felt that moment was like listening a folklore.
