On the frozen fjords around Baffin Island in early spring, a pair of very young cubs, fresh out of the den, follow their mother across the ice. We had spent a week camping on the ice with temperatures down to -30C in the hope of getting to see this years very young polar bear cubs amongst the icebergs of Baffin Island and the Davis Straight.
