Following the Leader
During migratory season the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge is home to thousands of swans, geese, ducks and other water fowl. It is not an uncommon sight to see hundreds take off at once and fly towards you in a cloud of feathers. As they started to settle I had the chance to to snap this shot of several Snow Geese in a line.
