I was fortunate to visit an island that happens to be along the migratory path in which snowy owls visit every winter. The body of water froze and created these magical blocks of beautiful ice that the weather proceeded to pile in such a medieval fashion. It was beautiful as is, but the snowy owl on top made it even more magical.
