Forest For The Trees Compounded
The greater forest and trails are a close-up of a Union soldier's grave marker decorated by lichens at the Texas State Cemetery. The symbolic "two together as one" trees live on Pike's Peak. The sky is a mix of descending storm clouds and the nearly indiscernible treelines below them.
