Forest iris
Bloomig Iris iniflora (single-flower iris) is on the photo. This flower is common in our oak forests (Middle Amur, Far East of Russia). Behind the photo you can read the story of our Amur spring, when small, squat irises start to bloom in oak forests in May. Newly blossomed flowers illuminated by the morning sun are especially beautiful.
